March 1, 2012 The Do Something Awards (formerly the BR!CK Awards) honor exceptional young social entrepreneurs, activists and community leaders who have made a significant impact. Five finalists receive at least $10,000 in grants to the nonprofits of their choice and in scholarships. The grand prize Do Something Award winner will receive a total of $100,000 in grants to the community organization of his or her choice. Applicants must be 25 years old or younger.
