FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Due Date: March 15, 2012

The Bureau of Justice Assistance will fund demonstration projects aimed at preventing rape in prisons. The demonstration program will provide resources to meet the requirements of Prison Rape Elimination Act standards in juvenile correction facilities, local juvenile detention facilities, adult jails and lock-ups, and Tribal facilities. Applicants must be units of state government, but it is expected that in many cases collaborative partnerships will be established with local and Tribal government agencies. read more>>

The Health Resources and Services Administration announces the availability of funding from the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part D Grants for Coordinated HIV Services and Access to Research for Women, Infants, Children, and Youth. Organizations that provide family-centered primary medical care to women, infants, children and youth living with HIV are invited to apply. This program aims to improve access to primary HIV medical care for HIV-infected women, infants, children and youth by providing coordinated, comprehensive, culturally and linguistically competent services. read more>>
